I Have A Positive Mindset

What negative thoughts are you allowing yourself to be in agreement with today? Are they true thoughts or are they snowballed fabrications that are torturing your mind? More importantly, what are you going to do with those thoughts? Will you allow it to deepen your anxiety and overwhelm or will you choose to pray through it? It is so easy to get overwhelmed with our thoughts but the good news is, we can teach ourselves to reject the lie and begin to believe God’s truth. We all think things we shouldn’t and think things that are unrealistic and untrue. Often, we spend so much time being fearful of what may happen, that we can’t see what IS happening right in front of us. We can get so caught up, for days, in a moment that doesn’t make a difference. We can get so caught up with a circumstance that doesn’t deserve the time we waste thinking about it. How much time have you already wasted, thinking about fears that never even took place…instances that may never even happen? Most of what we worry about
will never exist. You have to be mindful of what you are thinking. Start changing your thoughts today. Start listening to positive music and reading encouraging words. God will help you change your thinking if you will decide to change your mind about what you are thinking. Get out of the habit of being in agreement with your tarnished thoughts and start agreeing with the truth of God! In Philippians 4:8, Paul says, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable–if anything is excellent or praiseworthy–think about such things.” When we focus our thoughts on what God says, we can begin to see more of what is true, lovely, and admirable. That, my friend, is the power of His truth.
